Meaningful interactions, beautifully designed experiences.
I’m a UX Designer with over 20+ years of experience, passion and Jedi skills to help us rid the world of bad design – one project at a time.
GoToMeeting is fast becoming a favorite tool for teleconferencing, online meetings, and even sales demonstrations. GoToMeeting is extremely flexible. It can be used from any browser as well as most mobile devices, and with or without a camera.
As the Senior UX Designer on the project, the task of involved a complete redesign of the homepage focused primarily on the IT Buyer.
The project posed some interesting challenges within it's three main goals:
1. Modernizing the site.
2. Selling our portfolio and explaining the benefits/features of our products.
3. Creating a more targeted IT Buyer experience, with the focus on user conversion without sacrificing our positioning for business buyers.
We launched our 50/50 A/B test in the US for desktop visitors, and our new GoToMeeting homepage has resulted in a 51% increase in homepage trials.
The Marcled foundation seeks to build the careers and assets of low-income youth, young adults, and families. The foundation provides financial support to organizations, programs, and policies that effectively reduce barriers to economic success for low-income youth and young adults (especially current and former foster youth). The foundation also supports organizations working to assist low-income individuals who are caring for their child or children while struggling to get ahead.
Allbright Design was tasked with redesigning the Marcled foundation, using WordPress to customize the foundation’s content. The use of human faces featured on the homepage and the personal quotes help visitors relate to the foundation’s purpose and invite them to get involved in the community.
Phil Lesh and Friends is an American rock band formed and led by Phil Lesh, former bassist of the Grateful Dead.
Allbright Design was tasked with designing this psychedelic, responsive one page web site in only 24 hours, just in time for ticket sales.
As the first and a leader in developing Medical-Alert Service Dogs, Dogs4Diabetics (D4D) maintains ethical and industry-leading standards for innovative scent-trained dogs, who can detect changes in blood sugar up to 20-30 minutes before a hypoglycemic episode. They truly serve the diabetes community, train dogs, unites them with clients, and supports these teams for life, at no cost.
The Dogs4Diabetics web site was one of my favorite projects, as a Type 1 diabetic and client who was paired with an incredible medical alert dog, Odetta. Dogs4Diabetics (D4D) came to me with the goal of creating a site with a complex set of features and needed an easy way to maintain and update content.
To accommodate the large number of events D4D hosts, we implemented an events system to allow for events in different categories, public and private events, and RSVPs. D4D also wanted an area of the website that was private and password protected for specific users to access. We developed the web site and online application for those interested in getting a medical alert dog to be able apply online, and implemented scalable type for low vision users so that all users can read the content at a size that is comfortable to them.
LastPass is a freemium password manager that stores encrypted passwords online. The standard version of LastPass comes with a web interface, but also includes plugins for various web browsers and apps for many smartphones.
I was tasked with creating a Chatbot persona for LastPass (named Rueben), a friendly (may I add-cute) robot that was created to save users time and money by assisting agents and taking the lead to provide better customer experiences in ways that are easy and convenient.
Mission Possible and LABS at LogMeIn partnered up to host our 1st ever Social Impact Hackathon in the Innovation Lab at HQ. The idea for the Hackathon came from employees feedback stating that they wanted skills-based volunteer opportunities.
I was tasked with creating a creative, one-page informative site, which served to educate and inspire employees, customers and shareholders by sharing best practices and success stories.
GoToWebinar enables our customers to easily create and deliver captivating events that drive better business outcomes. At the beginning of 2018, we committed to modernizing and reinventing the webinar experience, and today our customers will now benefit from a completely redesigned webinar solution.
The new GoToWebinar redesign makes creating and managing live and on-demand webinars simpler. Designed in partnership with our customer feedback, GoToWebinar now has a fresh, new user experience, a game-changing instant on-demand publishing with GoToStage, and Beta version of Transcripts for G2W – all supported by a new enhanced webinar campaign analytics and reporting.
As a Senior UX Designer at LogMeIn, I was tasked with redesigning the corporate website, with these primary goals in mind.
Drive more leads, and ultimately increase revenue.
Educate consumers on products and careers.
Inspire people to apply to the company.
Along with your website redesign, we also revisited content, working with writers to ensure compelling content, true to the LogMeIn’s brand, story of the company’s history and current offerings.
Technology should work the way you do, so you can do your best work. A top-5 global SaaS company, LogMeIn is a market leader in communication & conferencing, identity & access, and customer engagement & support solutions.
LogMeIn’s main web site, offers three of its most popular products: Pro, Central and Rescue.
After testing the site, we found that only a few users arrived at the web site knowing what each product does. That’s why, when tasked with redesigning the page, I created a search filter to help guide users to the right products, most relevant to their role and business need. Once the user made a selection they were taken to a page, where they could sign up for a free trial.

Ms. Salome’s journals are, in many ways, remarkable. This writer and storyteller contacted me to design a small, personal web site, which served as a place for her to share her personal stories, drawings, photographs and recordings. What I created was a web site that intrigues its visitors and captures Mary’s personal essence – perfectly.
Sleep Science Partners
Like many companies, our story is personal. In 2003, after years of sleepless nights, Sleep Science Partners’ founder, Noel Lindsay was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. The process of getting screened, diagnosed and treated was so time-consuming, expensive and needlessly inconvenient, he felt “there must be a better way.” Sleep Science Partners was created to fulfill that mission.
Sleep Science Partners came to me for a complete redesign. Allbright Design was able to accomplish the company’s main goals:
Working with the SSP content team, educate people about the dangers of sleep apnea, including a sleep quiz.
Help users quickly find information about getting screened, diagnosed and treated.
Create a fully responsive, easy to update web site.
A visually friendly, easy to navigate, informational web site.
TechWomen brings emerging women leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East together with their professional counterparts in the United States for a mentorship and exchange program. TechWomen provides participants access to networks, resources and knowledge to empower them to reach their full potential.
The primary goal from a UX design and strategy perspective was to focus on the site’s ability to expand networks of women in STEM fields, strengthen partnerships, encourage girls to pursue STEM careers and ensure the sustainability of mentor-fellow relationships.
Through thoughtful UX design, I am able to tell the powerful story of emerging female leaders and mentors, and TechWomen is able to drive more people to connect, gather information and apply to its program.

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh set up his encore career when he opened Terrapin Crossroads, an eatery with a seasonal menu and toe-tapping live music every night.
Allbright Design was tasked with creating the UX design for this spectacular venue, showcasing its live music events and healthy down-home, all-American eatery.
